The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Passed Away in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident

Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his family, and all those touched by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
